Films.Gb maintain an in-house Graphics Dept. that work with a variety of advanced 2D and 3D broadcast tools. We've made title sequences such as Holby City plus DVD menus, promotional video, illustration, product design and learning tools.
As a general rule we provide quality motion graphics as part of the cost of any film and don't regard them as an extra unless either 3D or a time-intensive specific project is asked for. We use a variety of graphical design tools depending on the task and the level of special effects integration or complexity. The majority of our work is at FUll HD resolution which gives broadcast quality results. Scaled down versions are then utilised for The Web or in powerpoint presentations by business.
Complex graphics aren't always needed - and good communications don't always depend on them. However there's no quicker way to add production value (or lose it). The answer is always 'do it right or don't do it at all'
