Together the Generic films Corporate video team have over 60 hours experience in producing video for your presentation. Head of Production Klint Gewurtztraminer (pictured) once stood in a lift with Terry Wogan and did some photocopying for 'Watchdog'. With such a wide range of experience and enthusiasm Generic Productions is able to deliver the same film again, and again, and again - leaving our cash-rich clients satisfied that they've spent this years budget on something tangible, yet the same as everyone else's video therefore uniformly unthreatening.

Video Production -

'Stim' Kloisters

Stim Has a long history in film-making and communications. Winner of the 'Kruger & Dorkmeister' trophy for young independent film-makers he was a rising star in The Dutch film industry until catching his genitalia in a cucumber slicer whilst filming 'Hopi-hap de kasefloogle' ('Where's my cheese?') for Holland's largest sports retailer.

Both he and the cucumber slicer recovered and are, ironically, happily married and living in The UK where Stim's insight is helping to mould Generic FIlms into a powerful communications-led Multi-tasking, consumer-driven, brand-power, agency.

Director of several acclaimed rock videos , his last offering propelled seminal hip-hop beatnik grunge combo 'Arse Garden' straight to the number 72 slot in Australia. A born risk-taker, his work on David Dickinson's 'Real Deal' has transformed the way we think about television - not just as a medium, but as something we want to, in a very real sense, turn off.

Says Stim of corporate work, " From an early age I was driven towards uni-functional marketing analysis concepts and this has made me stand out from the crowd - not just because it's a series of random words strung together but because I mean it. and I think client's sense that."

The Creative Team -

What is there to say about the team that made 'poop' a global phenomenon?

(left to right - Quentin Tapp, Daisy Pemblow, and Fanny Dirkenhauser)

Says Quentin Tap, "we thought long and hard about 'poop', and finally we decided to approach this high profile video campaign not from the strategic angle, because that's what the competition would expect. Instead we chose to focus through a series of intertextual, asymmetric, poll-based, viral ads, and create a purely 'random' campaign. That's how we came up with the monkey playing with it's own shit and throwing it at children while playing the drums. Of course everyone loved it...though It nearly broke us as a creative team; we must have spent literally several minutes thinking it up, and i nearly missed my train home to Hoxton.

we think we might do something with eyebrows next - or cars - it depends how crazy i'm feeling on the day, and how much i'm getting paid to be 'crazy' yet simultaneously very predictable."

Awards -

Derek McDougalby - head of saying things.

Generic Films has won many highly prestigious awards, including the highly acclaimed McWhirter International Communications and corporate enterprise award for making-up awards . Says Derek McDougalby "being plucked from a list of at least three competitors, it was a close run thing but as most of my friends were on the judging panel common sense prevailed. The team all had a great night out accepting the award and it will look great on the web site" .

Photography -

Terry Crumpet - 'Art-Jizz' Magazine's 'One to watch' - 2009

Terry's love of video and film started at an early age "i vividly remember being at Currys.. or Dixons, and seeing the cameras there. .. and I thought.. 'I can do that' "

Who would have thought that literally days later he would be Generic FIlms Principle cameraman. "it's a dream come true to be working with such a great team - Stim, in particular has helped me to focus my style in ways that just this morning would have been impossible... principally because i didn't have a camera "

"i'm working on several screenplays at the moment and there 'a real 'buzz' around several of the meaningless short films i shot yesterday - "Twat", for example has been picked up by Channel 4 and is seriously under consideration for commissioning as a six- part series on TV commissioning itself.

Channel 4's Adam Skincraft: "Terry's a natural talent - his film "potty-mouth" really connects with Black street culture in a way that re-enforces middle class perceptions. He's' not one to let things like integrity get in the way, plus he's white and middle class, and i know his father so i find him very unthreatening in the edit and i can bully him into saying what we want - he's like a young Mike Figgis - except without any talent, and that really 'works' for us as a channel"

INTERNS -

Stacy is the newest member to join our creative team. She first met Generic Film's MD Harden Hutchler in Thailand where Harden has spent the last several years researching a documentary into the Sex trade. She speaks little English, but according to Harden, she's proving a valuable asset in communicating soft-skills and client's needs across a wide range of non-vertically aligned strategically horizontal activities.

Says Stacy (we think) ; "I am glad to be working 13 hours a day in advertising. It is a privilege to be working for nothing as i am gaining so much valuable experience as a runner here. Back home i was nobody but here I am allowed to make tea, coffee, and fetch chocolate croissants and order taxis. Soon I hope to have earned enough privileges to have my passport back"
