What's new?
As well as London we're now to be found near Bath, Bristol, Swindon and generally lurching around the West Country looking mysterious and intellectual. (A look we still haven't mastered). We're doing an increasing amount of presentation work and DVD production for The Department of Health and various Governmental organisations concerned with health. In addition we're just back from Mexico where we were able to shoot some great underwater scenes in the underground cave systems that cross the whole of the Yucatan peninsular; Dangerous stuff but highly rewarding.
Soon we're off to Miami and then Singapore via Barcelona to shoot an interenation al corporate for an investment group. we will be sure to bring back a great film and some of those funny liqueur minatures you get offered in hotels.
After that we will be building a huge hidden laboratory under a dormant volcano and developing a plan to blackmail The United Nations. It's all part of 'diversification'.
As above; We're doing a lot of work with The NHS in various departments - setting up Pod or Vod casts to distribute global messages in regards to good medical practice.
Shipping giants Germanischer Lloyd were kind enough to entrust us with a commercially sensitive Promotional video production shot in Hamburg and London and of course, we were happy to oblige. (We love shooting video hanging from helicopters over oil-rigs in the cold - mind you it's easy to write that when you aren't the cameraman.)
Since then - various work for Corporate-Value associates, a global corporate consultancy, plus some interesting web-video for SMP playgrounds who needed a camera-crane and steadi-cam to capture the spirit of their designs from various angles. In addition, we're re-embarking on another 30MIn DVD commissioned by Ernst & Young for The Cabinet Office. The idea is based around a 'Dragons' Den' type concept and is played throughout a 3-day conference in Westminster designed to provoke debate and change across the Civil Service.
just produced for Associated Press is a new set of graphics stings and idents designed for its globally -distributed 'Entertainment Now' programme. Needless to say we had fun with some very youthful funky styles that will cross international boundaries but also stand the test of time.
We're just putting the finishing touches to a 20min. DVD presentation for 'Imagine' - a Mental Health charity based in South London . The DVD Video heightens awareness of the charity and informs clients of available services - it's also been a lot of fun making it.
For The BBC we made a film about the artist Ralph Steadman; a fascinating character and an amazing graphic artist - perhaps most famous for partnering Hunter S Thompson and pioneering Gonzo art. His work now has pride of place somewhere in the office although it's also possible that someone's pinched it and it's now hanging on a toilet wall in Islington.
We're scripting and shooting an HD film and DVD for The RSPCA - FIlmed at their state-of-the art clinic in Bristol and designed to show off the work of The RSPCA, raise awareness, and stimulate Fund raising at the level of Corporate sponsorship
In France, as always, we're working with the ever-efficient MFORMA group to provide video content across Mobile platforms through the SFR, Orange and Bouyges Telecom networks.
